Computational analysis for complex image-based screens
Our research group develops advanced methods and software tools to quantify and mine the rich information present in cellular images to yield biological discoveries. We typically work on high-throughput projects, sometimes involving millions of images. We focus on screens that cannot be accomplished using existing software and are open to collaboration.
Our laboratory is best known for our open source software packages CellProfiler and CellProfiler Analyst . The software evolves within an active research environment involving dozens of diverse image-based assays, resulting in rich functionality as we continue to improve its capabilities. We often provide tutorials and workshops to the public.
